These terms of use (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of the Beecy mobile application and/or website, as well as the content, products, and services (hereinafter, the “Services”) made available by Beecy, a company legally incorporated under the laws of Colombia, with registered office in Armenia, QuindĂo.
By creating an account or using the Services, you agree to these Terms and commit to complying with them. If you do not agree, you must not access or use the Services.
Beecy offers a technology platform that allows users to connect with others geographically nearby, facilitating social interaction, community support, and content publishing either anonymously or with identity, as chosen by the user.
Main features:
Beecy does not act as an intermediary for goods or services, nor does it guarantee the truthfulness or legality of user interactions.
To use the Services, you must create a personal account (“Account”) by providing truthful, updated, and complete information.
Minimum age: You declare and guarantee that you are at least 14 years old at the time of registration.
Required data at registration:
You are responsible for all activity under your Account and agree to keep your login details confidential. You may not transfer, assign, or share your Account.
Users have the right to delete their Beecy account at any time. This action can be performed directly from the settings menu within the app. Once initiated, the account and all associated personal data will be permanently deleted, unless we are legally obligated to retain certain information for a specific period (e.g., compliance with legal obligations or fraud prevention).
Deleting the app from your device does not terminate your account. You remain responsible for the account until it is explicitly deleted through the official process.
Beecy uses your device’s geographic location to show nearby users and posts. This information is only used while the app is active and is not permanently stored or publicly shared without your consent.
Beecy also uses cookies and other tracking mechanisms to personalize the experience and show relevant content according to your preferences. This includes remembering settings, suggesting content, and displaying ads aligned with your behavior. By using Beecy, you agree to the use of cookies and tracking as described in our Privacy Policy, which forms an integral part of these Terms.
License and Rights
By posting content on Beecy (messages, photos, comments, etc.), you retain your rights but grant Beecy a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free, transferable, and sublicensable license to use, host, store, reproduce, modify, create derivative works, distribute, publish, and display such content to operate and improve the Services.
Content Responsibility
You are solely responsible for the content you post and guarantee that you own or control all necessary rights. Beecy does not pre-screen all content but reserves the right to remove or restrict posts that it considers contrary to these Terms or the law.
Community Guidelines
You agree not to post or share content that:
Your interactions are at your own risk. Beecy does not control or take responsibility for user behavior or the consequences thereof.
Private Messages: You may send initial messages to nearby users anonymously. Identities are only revealed if the recipient replies. If there is no reply, both identities remain hidden.
Online Mode: When activated, users become visible (name, photo, tagline) to nearby users also in Online Mode, for a limited time. Once ended, the profile returns to private.
If you choose to share your identity, you do so voluntarily and at your own risk.
You agree not to:
Beecy is committed to maintaining a safe community through human moderation and automated filters. Users can report inappropriate content, harassment, spam, or other violations via visible options in the app.
Beecy will review reports and may remove content or suspend violating accounts. However, Beecy does not assume responsibility for user content, and each user is accountable for their posts.
Users may delete their posts at any time. Free posts are automatically removed after their maximum visibility time (1 hour).
Basic access to Beecy is free. Premium features or paid posts with extended reach (e.g., shown in other zones or longer duration) may be offered.
Conditions, prices, and coverage of premium services will be clearly communicated before confirming payment and must be explicitly accepted by the user.
Beecy and its licensors retain all rights to the brand, logo, software, interfaces, and related elements of the Services. These Terms do not grant you any rights to use protected materials outside what is expressly permitted.
The Services are provided “as is” and “as available.” Beecy does not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation.

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Beecy, its officers, and employees from any claim, damage, or expense (including legal fees) arising from:
Beecy may modify these Terms at any time. Changes will be notified via the app or email and deemed accepted if you continue to use the Services after they take effect.
These Terms are governed by the laws of Colombia. Disputes shall first be resolved through mediation, and if not possible, by arbitration under applicable Colombian rules or the International Chamber of Commerce, as appropriate.
If any clause is deemed invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions remain in effect.
You may not assign these rights without Beecy’s prior written consent.
These Terms constitute the entire agreement between You and Beecy.
